There has definitely been plenty to do! After breakfast and the Monday Morning SOAP, we got on the buses and headed to Raging Waters, with the average amount of sleep being 4 hours (leaders included).
Everybody was happy that we got there at opening, because the students got to go on quite a few of the rides before the bulk of the crowd got to the park. Evidently, the park does some kind of special for after 1 PM, because quite a few people were showing up at that time. To top it off, it got up to 93 degrees in San Dimas. It’s not Phoenix, but when you are running around in it with all the humidity, it wiped everybody out.
The students got along great! Darius made sure that the students were in groups of 8 or more to hang out at Raging Waters and they did great. The groups stayed that size the entire time and it looks like that they all had a blast.
One of the highlights of the day was Darius surfing! Alright, maybe that is not him, but you be the judge!

By the end of the day, the students were wiped out! When we arrived back at the University, the Rohlinger’s had brought El Pollo Loco. It was the perfect meal after the water park and the students loved it. Once we got together again, Mark Grochocki told his story, Jon Turner led worship and Pastor Greg gave the message. It was a fantastic day and all the students are getting to sleep for another big day tomorrow at Knott’s Berry Farm.
