Generous Givers

Parents,

In case your son or daughter did not tell you, we announced the amount of money the students raised in their challenge to “Give so Kids in Haiti can Live.”  Through garage sales, birthday money, Christmas money, and sacrificial giving over the last two months, the students raised $2403.70!  Since every five dollar sacrifice can save one life, the students in our ministry were able to save the lives of 480 kids in Haiti!  Praise God that He got a hold of their hearts in such a way to be so generous towards this cause!

For some students, this is the first big “God-Thing” that they were able to be a part of and I am so proud of them.  I have been praying for your son or daughter and I hope you will pray along with me that this will be a catalyst for the generous lives God is calling them to live.  I’m praying that they will never love money (which is the root of all kinds of evil…I Timothy 6:10), but that they will love seeing what God can do with the money they offer up to Him.

Thank you for allowing our ministry to come alongside you and your Middle School/High School student to reinforce the value of generosity.  The stories I’ve heard from you all about your teenager giving towards this cause have truly moved me and increased my faith.  I’m looking forward to partnering with you for the next big God thing He calls our ministry to be a part of.
